Dorm room assignments: need the ability to change the "Started" date to the actual date of the assignment instead of a default today's date.

When a dorm manager assigns someone to the dorm room, the 'Started' date defaults to today's date with absolutely no ability to change it to the actual assignment date, e.g. the semester start date or the date when the change actually happened. We need the ability to change this date to reflect the actual "started" date.
