Make Headers Minimizable on Faculty Assignment Pages

I have a request from multiple faculty to be able to collapse headers on assignment pages so more of the page is available to see uploaded documents or threaded discussions. With the current configuration, on many laptops, the header (mostly empty space, and what information is available does not need to be seen) takes up a lot of space and the window the faculty needs is often very narrow horizontally. This makes grading unnecessarily difficult.

This is an example one of my faculty sent me, from a discussion-thread assignment. The problem is fairly obvious—the mostly empty header is actually larger than the pane in which the student's work is visible, and that pane is so narrow that constant scrolling is required.
