We had at least one student that I am aware of that we made updates to transactions for multiple prior years, that did not affect his tax forms. As there are few people looking for 1098-Ts unless they are filing their taxes, we thought we would be able to go back and republish any 1098-Ts that appeared to be adjusted, even though they were not, when we worked on the 1098-Ts for this year but the older year was no longer accessible (building widgets concept). It would be helpful to be able to go back to a prior year and amend or republish forms even though that year is no longer the current or prior tax year.
