Pre-requisites should throw up an error, warning, or something saying the student hasn't met the pre-requisite requirement for the course their advisors are registering them for. We do not allow students to self-register, but having this warning for the advisor would be beneficial. The system should throw up a red flag (somehow) when a registration tries to bypass a pre-requisite, requiring manual override. We would like to ensure that that guardrail is in place.

I would like to see this added to the K-12 course requests module, as well.
Pop-up are very helpful to ensure students have taken the required pre-requisite for a course. We are a college that has professional academic advisors who register students each semester. The current system requires advisors to reference the college catalog when registering a student. If a pop-up was enabled, it would streamline the registration process tremendously. I'm in full support of this request.
I am supportive of this request, because it will enhance collaboration between professional advisors and faculty, who often have a secondary or marginalized role when students don’t self-register. It will also help in correcting human error, which occurs occasionally.
