To not have pre-entered Attendance be

To not have pre-entered Attendance be overridden when entering new Attendance

If I enter a pre-excused Absence, and then later enter a group Attendance for Athletics, it overrides the pre-excused Absence. Could a prompt be made when there are two conflicting Attendances for a student?
